What are the requirements?

In the US, it's pretty damn strict. For example, because I have ADD/depression and both are genetic, I'm not allowed to donate even if I wanted to.

And people who decide IV using donors often want the sperm from people who work in "intelligent" fields.

I'm not wealthy, but I would gladly pay more if I made more in taxes. Not because I chose to have 0 kids, but because I would have more to spare.

Why should I pay more? I'm already contributing a ton into the economy. So because I decided I don't want to pass my genetic line because I want my dad to never experience having a grandchild, I should pay more?

A part of me understands the logic behind it. "Kids cost money. The 'rich people' who aren't spending money on kids should pay more because they have more to spend because they don't have kids."

It's wrong, it's warped, but I understand why they might think that.

Yeah, I couldn't do it, that's for sure.

I'm harsh when they make a mistake, but it's more, "I think this is very poorly worded and rife for abuse as it stands" more than, "F- you, burn in heck" (or much stronger wording.)

If it's big enough to work now, it's big enough if the change were to happen.

And if it wouldn't be big or clear enough, then the current system isn't, either.

Funny thing about that. We can mostly solve the organ donor issue with one simple fix.

And I'm not joking.

Changing organ donation from opt-in to opt-out.

Most people are lazy, and won't opt into a thing they have to click "yes" to opt into.
This works in reverse, too.

I've officially gotten every "War" class to 100 in #FF14.

I have no idea what to do next now. I'll probably start levelling crafting classes. I already have Botanist and Miner to 100, so "Land" classes are mostly finished. (I hate fishing in FF14)

How is this repeatedly made into a policy issue - by *all* parties - when the blunt fact of the matter is that grown adults who are obliged to pay for their own education, and relentlessly pursued to repay their loans, should be able to study whatever the fuck they want.

This post is getting shared a lot, but it's inaccurate. Bob Ross donated most of his paintings to PBS stations to use in pledge drives to raise money for stations, which is why the estate auctioning paintings now is so appropriate, because it's what he would have done to raise funds for PBS. 1/?

requiring someone to take a generic first before moving to the brand name that is functionally the same does make a lot of sense.

Just an example.

There would be overworked gov't doctors that would have to deny claims like you say.

want them to get the cheapest possible procedure first. And then work their way up in cost or danger if that didn't work.

I know I would.

Insurance companies are the ones paying for those costs.

There's a fuckton wrong with insurance companies on a lot of axes, but-

But also, doctors need to learn the codes and use them *correctly.*

Having helped with claims, have worked in insurance sales, and worked as CS for a few large insurance companies; I can say that the burden is purposefully high, the insurance companies deny without often really looking at the claims (30 second denial, anyone?)

I've been seeing more toxicity coming from the mod team, the "AI" bros, and the bots spamming reports than actual spoken (typed?) word.

I'm not sure what your role is in the team as this is the first time I've seen you post, but y'all seriously need a PR person. Bad.
