Time for a fun fact: the quadriceps tendon rupture was repaired using a 5.5 × 16.3 mm (😱) suture anchor — a corkscrew-like screw drilled into my knee, with sutures attached to it to secure the tendon (picture taken from www.arthrex.com).

Time for a fun fact: the quadriceps tendon rupture was repaired using a 5.5 × 16.3 mm (😱) suture anchor — a corkscrew-like screw drilled into my knee, with sutures attached to it to secure the tendon (picture taken from www.arthrex.com).

Today marks 100 days since I completely tore my quadriceps tendon. Recovery takes about 3 - 6 months. For now, I’m just happy that I can do everyday things again. There’s still a lot to do, but for now I’m taking a few more days to rest. #Holiday
