Vegan is difficult for us. We do eat cheese, sometimes other dairy, but we use coconut or almond milk in coffee. I do feel guilty keeping the dairy cows imprisoned … 🥺

Related to wild animal extinctions increasing. Each Spring I’m appalled by the amount of land people mow, tons of petrol chemicals used, fuel and water wasted and overused, invasive plants spread … People won’t miss what they haven’t paid attention to or what they don’t care about.

Bird populations have been plummeting along with insect populations. Under trump, adversity faced by wild animals has increased dramatically, along with climate change denial.

I’ve been vegetarian for several years, eating occasional fish/eggs, no red meats.Thinking about meat makes me cringe because of the horrible way we treat meat animals; other animals like ducks, etc., that we get down feathers from and other animals we derive products from are often treated badly.
