The evening before was bizarre… too many people, standing or even sitting in the middle of the road, taking selfies… shooting right into the sun.
We came back next morning and it was a lot better!

We were talking about you today… at the Shafer trail overlook!
Couldn’t get a picture because half was in shade 😢!
But tomorrow at 8:00 am we will pick up a Jeep Rubicon for 24 hours.
Guess where we’re going in that.
My daughter can’t wait to drive the trail and some other places!

A little drive in Monument Valley towards the
Totem pole butte formation.
The bugs on our windshield give away the bumpiness of the drive, but IPhone did a fine job of stabilizing the video!

On the way into Oatman, Arizona, on Route 66, the donkeys intercepted cars headed for town.
They blocked the road looking for treats.
Donkeys are common in town, but I’ve never seen them on the road so far from town. 🤗
