![The Gen1 Pathfinder is the looker, but the Gen2 is the king of the nameplate. Switching from frame to "uniframe" [a stout unibody] it has real off-road chops, but was much more refined. This red one is an SE from, I think, 1996. It matches the NX2000. In reality is probably get blue or something. You could spec the SE with a 3.3L V6 [VG33E, reliable as hell] and a 5-speed manual. Love those. An almost perfect achievement in the history of the car. As The Bishop warns in the piece that Northstar had issues, but conceptually it was amazing.

they make that clapped out car missing a bumper & running on 3 cylinders that cut you off today while they were texting & smoking¹
[¹ I can't say for sure if this happened, but on average this happens to every American driver once a day so it probably did]

2 hours minimum before takeoff. Target is usually 2.5 hours. Even the worst TSA personnel [BWI, and it's not close] @ the busiest times have gotten us thru crowded lines in time if given 2.5.
