i get what you mean, i appreciate the focus on wholesomeness most of the time but a lot of it lacks the hint of edginess that twitter had before it went overboard, almost feels like a lot of the userbase is more similar to facebook's than twitter's

This place is a good substitute imo, you do have to put the work in to see stuff you're interested in and follow people that do that, which we did on Twitter years ago so now it feels like a chore just to get where we already were

its missing some things, i need to

a) play it better, and

b) figure out (what i assume to be) the power chords that I left out, still bad at those

happy with being able to get this far at all, i usually rely on other people's tabs but it was great being able to do it on my own

as for the humbucker, I went with a cheap ass single-coil sized humbucker on amazon because my pickups are probably from the same factory anyways (harley benton guitar) and the sound is good! again, still a bit shrill, but I think that's just what a strat-style bridge pickup will always sound like

the copper shielding wasn't too bad to put on? had to work around the pickups to get it on the pickguard, that took a while, plus my cleanup job wasn't perfect, but it makes a MASSIVE difference what the hell? tbf my EMI/RF case was really bad, so YMMV, but this was well worth the effort

Do you know how good something has to be to be worth a 4 year wait? It's better than what I was hoping for.

I'll write my thoughts about it in depth some day but i just finished the story and... I mean, I think the first post says enough, but just in case: 10/10. Play it.
