All the drones today are lighting up the network with talk of biting, and everyone keeps looking at me expectantly. I don't know why!! Just because my fangs grew in REALLY fast and REALLY sharp and could probably pierce steel if I wanted it hard enough and oh I see why now

Been taking up some odd jobs lately! "Diversifying my skillset" according to Miss Adder. Jabbing people with random needles is fun, but I think I liked experimenting on plants more!

Had what I thought was a sparring match turn into more of a fighting lesson than sparring. But I did convince the girl I was fighting to knock me out by shocking me with so much electricity that I think I blew some fuses in my arms.
Altogether a win/win I think.

Following up on this- the SR game i run occasionally is set in a Neo Automisia Chicago. Instead of bug spirits and horrors, it's a fairly typical/rotting metroplex; and most prominent on it's skyline is the whorling permanent hurricane centered over Lake Michigan, forever turning.

Proxy (Troll, NPC)- A renegade journalist & fixer for the group, despite her reputation as a decker; Is chasing leads for a story involving a massive breach of data from the local Ares branch, fed to her by Irene
Four (Elf, NPC)- A blackhat of some renown- blunt, to the point, unwilling to engage in most of the group's bullshit. Responsible- possibly one of few immortal elves in existence, born in 1964
Derecho- Daughter to a local legend in Urban Ball (if baseball let you kill & cheat), taking up shadow work to make ends meet & keep her partner out of a cult that worships the hurricane
Morrigan- Disowned Tir nobility & technomancer-turned-punk-decker- moved as far away from her family as possible to avoid their wrath/interest, or further magical experiments
Facade- Former FBI, "forcibly retired" by way of car bomb- exceedingly depressed & unprepared for the runner life. Clinging to stability via Morrigan & Irene

The nicest part about working for Adder is that I can't remember a time where I last slept alone. I know some employees do, but personally? I like having no less than two cuddly bedmates at once.
