Wouldn’t the better name for this console be the JVC Cross-Eye? You know seeing double and all (Genesis & Sega CD). How did marketing not make this happen?

I think the Spyro trilogy was very solid. Insomniac Games did a great job creating a fun protagonist. Gameplay and graphics were both solid especially considering fully 3D platformers were still in their infancy.

Can’t believe it’s been 30 years ago yesterday! I remember deciding to rent one right after it lunched at Blockbuster and loved it so much I decided I wasn’t going to wait for the N64 anymore. So many good times with this system.

Commodore 1084 is my go to 15khz CRT. Beautiful picture and more style than a PVM/BVM.

Found one of those fancy VA3 Model 2 Genesis boards from a lot I picked up. Rubycon caps and a smaller footprint motherboard. Great picture and sound!

I finally found one of the rare NES test market era controllers from a pickup. The board is different and the crimpings for the controller are wired vertically instead of staggered and labeled like the normal later model. Some models also have a resistor on the back.

Tariffs aside, I think the bigger fallout of the terrible communication by Nintendo has led to its loyal base feeling like they are being punished for upgrading to Switch 2. The pricing structures for new and old software clearly was a huge miss for a transition that Nintendo SHOULD be making smooth

1993 side-scrolling beat 'em up arcade game by Capcom, based on the comic book series Xenozoic Tales. The game was produced as a tie-in to the short-lived Cadillacs and Dinosaurs animated series which was aired during the same year the game was released. Lots of fun!

Watching the BOTW Switch 2 Remaster is like watching a different game. What a huge difference. Can't wait. Mario Kart Worlds animation looks phenomenal.

This is actually the Commodore 1084 monitor from my childhood. We found it some years ago in my parents basement and my Dad let me take it. Still my favorite monitor.
