I keep getting TikToks about how there are barely any gay bears on the apps these days. Most of the comments blame GLP1s (which is true), but I have another theory. The most surprising thing about 2025 has been how openly horny everyone became. I fully expected the political shift to conservatism to be reflected in attitudes towards sex, but the opposite happened. It feels like everyone’s nihilism about the future is simultaneous ratcheting their hedonism.
