I've made so much progress with the comms in the last few days. I'm so happy with every single one that I finished and the WIPs are looking nice too. 💙 This weekend I'll take a break and finally get back to drawing THEM (this WIP has been sitting on this stage for almost 2 weeks).

Anywhere between 1 and 50 hours, depending on the style and complexity. Colored fullbody sketches take around 2 hours, meanwhile rendered artworks take at least 6 hours, mostly well over 10. My longest piece was a commission (shown below), only one character, but a lot of detail. It took ~45 hours.

I've just found this "understand my ship in 5 minutes" sheet, I think it may be of interest to you.
"Understand my ship in 5 minutes" template by gibslythe filled out with my characters: Amarantha and Nestor. Amarantha is an anthropomorphic lizard with a blue, cosmic aesthetic. Nestor is an anthropomorphic lizard with a purple and yellow floral aesthetic. On the top of the page there are their names and portraits. Between the portraits there is age and height info. Amarantha's height: 229 cm Nestor's height: 190 cm Height difference: 39 cm Amarantha's age: 52 Nestor's age: 49 Age difference: 3 Below the portraits there is gender and sexuality info. Amarantha's gender: genderless cosmic entity (she/her; it/its) Amarantha's sexuality: asexual Nestor's gender: male (he/him) Nestor's sexuality: bisexual On the left side there are several sliders/spectrums, and on the right side there are silhouettes where you fill in "horny level", "awkwardness level" and "love level". There's limited character space for alt text, so here's a little summary: Amarantha is more introverted, and inexperienced, she doesn't love Nestor, doesn't even care about him at all. She has 0 horny level, a max awkwardness level and 0 love level. Nestor is very in love with her. He has a fairly high horny level, a low awkwardness level and a max love level.

It had been about 6 years of barely writing anything and 2,5 years of writing only notes before I started the first chapter in September. Now I'm over 8k words in and although it isn't always easy, I feel very motivated and quite happy with how it's turning out.
