My only concern was the privacy laws concerning underage students. The principal was supposed to get back to us but hasn't yet so I've just been sending her to school with it. Bummer is it only works in Bluetooth range of her phone that's in her locker.

That was also the concern of the principal when I spoke with him. But as far as I can tell there aren't any active recordings that are accessible by anyone and it seems to dispose of the audio once it's transcribed. Luckily for me I live in Michigan and it's a one-party consent state.

Also, it was $50. Leo wasted way more than that. Only other hardware is a Rabbit R1 i bought used for $25 back in June.
