The reference is DIVINE. I added the flower bouquet because when I was painting, I thought of a kidosei fanfic featuring serial killer Kido x victim Seimei. Kido trapped Seimei in Seimei's house and he bought lily bouquet and well, pinned Seimei on the lilys to do unspeakable things.

I was shocked when I first found out he ate demon corpses. New, fresh corpse though, but before that, I assumed he was the picky type. Plus, since his stomache is bad, I thought he would not be able to digest things well.

I just want a timeline to work on though, but it's funny how the Valentine letter Kido sent to Seimei would be exactly 20 years after the first time they met if I count this way.

Counting like that, in 2026, if the timeline in the game's lore follows the irl time, Kido would be around 29-31 years old and Seimei would be 27-29 years old. Damn no wonder why I started drawing them with some eye bags and eye wrinkles.

When Kido SSR version was released, Seimei should be at least 20 since he had been working as an Onmyoji for a while and he had recovered from memory loss. I assume that he would be 21 and Kido would be 23. The first time they officially met again was 2 years after that, in the Suzuhikohime's ev.

The Kidomaru incident should happen when they were at least 12. I assume that Seimei was 13 and Kido was 15. They have studied together for 8 years. I believed they lived in the same place too, since Kido mentioned Tadayuki hung up the carp flags outside "their" house for Kido and Seimei.

Therefore, I assume at the age of 5, Seimei's parents left him behind and asked Tadayuki to take care of him. And then he met Kido. In that same year, they went to the festival.
