The holiday gift I'm reading now: Slewfoot, by Brom. I also read The Child Thief years ago and enjoyed it immensely (for those who love Peter Pan). The art is, to me, the epitome of dark fantasy, and the story grips my New England imagination.

Voors are toilets with a deep receptacle in which a mold is cultured to devour the waste. Regular scouring with acid to cull the mold's growth as it will eat any living flesh it can reach. Though these are a luxury for the rich it is common to say: "use the voor".

It's astounding that millions still think it's ok to shit-post about the guy and plan for the next election instead of threatening every level of govt from bottom up to do something about it or we will.
I guess if we don't look at the 1st month we can still say: what could go wrong in 4 years?
