That's a good piece and informative to a large audience, thanks. I felt really crushed when I read the petition to speak out against culling ~450,000 barred owls. I think: restore habitat when possible and stop interfering with natural systems, and that will be an improvement at least.

Wonder what Judge Jeff Cummings will do if the order is ignored? Or how long these 615 illegally detained people will be in custodial limbo if an appeal is filed. For their families horror of their loved ones sent to torture prisons, but some will be $ supporters of their families.

They are tough, that's for sure. But they're also unvaccinated and susceptible to FIV, calicivirus and other respiratory viruses, and that's a real problem.
