I too have very fond memories of C&C. My family was privileged to have 2 PCs - in separate rooms. My mom would sit with me, and my brother would sit with my Dad on the other PC and play over LAN.

We would communicate over walkie-talkie!

Thank you for sharing that. You’ve been dealt a whole lot of grief this year. You have a lot of people cheering for you and your family (as dumb as that always sounds).

That’s fundamentally what makes this technology bad. It wouldn’t be quite so awful if there were SOME indication of the possibility of it being wrong. It’s presented as a fact — no need to look any further, here’s the answer
