The task force was initially designed with Harris to combat weap-ons being smuggled from the US into Canada. Something that’s been a major thorn & was one of the many reasons to update it awhile back. But republicans kept shooting down the border bill.

Right! Lived near the border a while back and have friends that are still agents - everything in his tweet is what is already implemented. There’s even press releases from years ago when they were launched. Even the funds listed are the ones that have been assigned and used over the last 7 years.

I find it concerning that he has to resort to calling out their reps publicly. Why tf r they not answering the governor of the state they represent!!! People will die w/out Medicaid, food benefits, etc. They all chant back the blue but aren’t doing shit when the blue loses funding.

Also, what they really need to be panicking about is China is always 5-10 years ahead of whatever it’s made public. So, deepseek is likely an older model of whatever they have.
