An ordinary day in academia: blocked ordering equipment for unspecified reasons, querying support, told to email someone else, told by that person it's not their problem, redirected to a webform, filling out the webform and designating it for approval, where it needs to be approved by... me.

Nice thing about warm-weather Christmas is I don’t have to feel restricted to heavy stouts for the occasion- the honeycomb on the label of this wild ale also reminds me of mirrors. (Still living up to how I summarised my undergraduate life for the yearbook, 30 years ago: “astrobeer”)
