Then about the 'tuts'!
'Modular js' should be the standard way to go and those tuts should be based on that!

Just my opinion and as a non dev.
The '.' you mentioned 'perhaps not always possible' but is it not better to transfer them to modular js and make them future proof instead of waisting time on finding their culprits?

Another cause of 'overflow' is 'margin'!

Just as this site is just ment for demo's and nomore, I don't want to spend tomuch time on it, so I think to go for my hash option!

Right on, I use that for query the dom at a central point.
The advance of that is, all dom elems are queried just once and I can use them wherever I want to.

To notice, what I've created is just a base with only 6 features and has to be extended with more features.
Anyhow my goal for this week is to drop it on GitHub and perhaps creating a fiddle.
