I think it would probably work better if paired directly with a NES wireless receiver but I only have a SNES one so I overcomplicate it to not spend any more 😅

There's something fun about playing on a wooden box tv with actual hardware and period appropriate styled new wireless controllers which is nice since I don't have to have controller wires coming down off the top of the tv like this

The NSO controller won't pair with the brook either incase wondering why 2 wireless devices daisy chained. Using Kiwitata 2.4g wireless SNES controllers remapped through a Brook converter there too and finally caved and spent my birthday gift card on a 8bitdo M30 to use on the Genesis. Mad Science😅

I bought the Famicom controllers for the Switch and thought maybe they could pair with the 8bitdo wireless receiver. They do but the buttons need remapping which I do with a Brook converter. Sometimes I like turbo buttons too so wired a NES 4 score into the 15 pin Famicom ext connector and it works!

The more you know about used tech that if I didn't take (back) in would either be at a thrift store or in a landfill xD it's nice to know the retro hobby is still alive and has interest 😃

I sold this Famiclone but they were done with it so bought it back. I bought it for the controllers

I like these and they have a different connector but work like actual Nintendo ones through a cable change or adapter
