Baby season is here! Well-meaning rescuers often make a critical mistake—feeding the wrong formula.

Puppy & kitten milk aren’t safe! Never feed or give water. Instead:

✔ Keep them warm, dark & quiet
✔ Call a wildlife rehab ASAP

We have several screech owls in our care after being hit by cars. These tiny owls fly low, get blinded by headlights, and often freeze when startled, making roads especially dangerous.

✅ Slow down at night.
✅ Dim high beams when possible.
✅ Stay alert for movement on the road.

After being hit by a truck, this hawk suffered a fractured wing but never lost their attitude! Weeks of rehab, PT, and flight conditioning later, we were able to release back to the wild.
