This is patently not what dysphoria is. It is not a 'belief' that young people have. It is a physical and emotional distress that they experience, and that puberty blockers can help alleviate.

Do you know why people who find out they are autistic do this? It’s a request for kindness and understanding before doing or saying something which will be perceived as odd. It’s also a way to understand ourselves, having just received a new word to describe how we’ve been our entire lives
