there is some romantic appeal of star players staying in one city for their entire career, but also, stars switching teams is fun and creates juice.

I’m generally in favor of more bookings for simulation, but it’s pretty wild to book a player who did, in fact, get an arm across their face and neck.

Referee indicated that the contact was with the chest and on replay, it looked higher.

Manually tilling the large bare patches of soil in my backyard before I lay grass seed really has me questioning the merit of having grass in the backyard.

Holy moly, it is substantial work. Pretty sure I've got to do it if I want the grass to have a chance. The soil is so compacted.

Yes, they’re a dirty team and they pride themself on that.

My mind combined that tweet with a tweet about how some non-NHL plug on the Sens took a run at a Habs player the other night and claimed that was a yearly Sens preseason tactic - to have AHLers try to injure NHLers.

There is virtually zero chance this happens. The only reason I hedged even the tiniest bit is because Leicester City, but I think the PL is materially different than it was then.

I was so excited when the U.S. was awarded the '26 World Cup. I went in '94 when I was seven, and it was incredibly cool.

Then D.C. didn't get a venue, which is understandable b/c out stadiums suck. And now we've got all the ICE stuff, ticket greed, etc.

Completely killed the vibe.
