We don't appreciate the Coalition and other lobbyists strong arming our community when you don't even live here. The 15 minute community fantasy cannot be shoehorned onto these types of neighborhoods. There will be consequences for ignoring people and telling them how they should live.

SDAT does assessments based on neighboring community and comps. Higher priced houses in the neighborhood=higher assessments for everyone. Reduced QOL based around induced traffic congestion.

I’m astonished to say I agree with you.

Give an example of something proposed by the Planning Board that is bad.

All it will do is increase traffic congestion and replace modest, affordable homes with more expensive duplexes. And it will increase displacement to boot as tax assessments rise. Thanks for messing up our neighborhoods with a plan no one asked for.

Then you are well aware that the vast majority of your neighbors oppose this plan.

A plan that people who actually live here didn‘t ask for and do not want. Smart growth that forces traffic congestion on residents in some misguided quest to increase bus use is absurd policy destined to fail.

Was it built in 1989?

There is almost no area that is more housing restrictionist or has built less housing over the last few decades than TKPK.

Says the guy living in TKPK.

Traffic will be rerouted to smaller streets seeking to avoid traffic on University through adoption of a street grid under the Corridor Plan. The idea that increasing cut-through traffic onto narrow, often single lane neighborhood streets is somehow "engineered more safely" is not credible.
