I got you, haha. And yes, that will be an advantage, and at the short classes I went to, those who watched curling a bit obsessively definitely had an advantage over people were on a whim, so you're on the way

Haha, not trying to bag on bowling, so let's try "bowling but everyone works together to guide the ball to the pocket instead of taking turns"

Also, even though I only did it a few times, with curling I can promise muscle development in leg and hip muscles that you were previously unaware of

This post is how I learned that the golds gym is *smirking*, kinda like Sting is

Oh, yeah, gonna be easy up there. They will probably be doing "try it" classes right now with the Olympics. Bowling league vibes, but so much deeper and more interesting strategically, cool people. Hard to do well, but doable right away

Like watching it? Or getting interested in playing it? Because if it's playing it, gotta warn you that it's *immediately* super fun and the only thing keeping me from having a Problem is that the local rink is too far from my house for weekly play.

I'm finding it generally unobjectionable, which has been an upgrade for me. Plus, I get a giggle when the occasional football idiom sneaks in

Almost feels like an interpretation of what the song has *become* in its audience's mind. Clever or "management knowing its audience" or both?

Yes to all of this, but to put another way, OneDrive is such a bad, anti-human, manipulative product that in a just world, its destruction would be a national policy problem to urgently solve.

Heard and that's what we're working towards! Lucky to have co-coaches who are bought in to keeping everyone moving instead of waiting or listening to old dudes give vague advice, so I've learned a lot from the experience, and our group is learning fast

Now, it isn't perfect out there, tiktok-addled players of all skill levels CAN NOT STOP trying to over-handle 1-on-4 into the teeth of the defense. But I think that's cultural: the drills, ADM structure, & bought-in coaches are all trying to get them to stop. Just need parents/players to catch up

Growing up in the north, you could always see that "dirty" snow/ice seemed to hang around much longer, sometimes months. Would love to know more about the chemistry or physics involved!

"We're running behind, gonna be 30 minutes."

"Sweet, time for some of that Aladdin game with the cool animation"

When I was a kid, the orthodontist had this setup with a Sega Genesis and the latest games. *Exactly that* should exist in all waiting rooms today.

I suppose one could learn in discovery in a lawsuit similar to ones lodged against the tobacco industry, which revealed quite sophisticated knowledge about their customers?

I've always wondered how much informal/secret research along these lines vg companies are doing in-house through tracking the results of changes or even full a-b testing. Would be easy to do! pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC...
Type of musical soundtrack affects behavior in gambling
Background and aims: A long existing notion is that the presence of music might affect gambling behavior. In spite of this, little empirical research on the subject exists. The main aim of the present study was to corroborate and elaborate on the ...

As a photographer I worry because Lightroom Classic just doesn't have a peer for what it does, but would be too expensive to maintain as a product without the rest of the suite making money... I would like Adobe to start making better choices immediately!

Wait, if I'm reading this right, that says "every team in the East with more points than the playoff cutoff in the West"

This year is so incomprehensibly weird man

The color and filmy-ness, combined with the Olds really makes you confident about what decade you're looking at... until you see the satellite dish hanging out...

Same quality with "In the Heat of the Night" on the marquee too... until you see the very modern font lol
