Indeed! And the upcoming slate does seem to have a little for everyone, which is cool. It all comes down to whether they trust creative and can keep the boardroom types out of it. It’s not just DC we have to worry about taking the wrong lesson from it, though. The industry loves trends.

I agree 1000%. As a long time retailer, I have my doubts that that will be their takeaway… but I really hope they do use this to be creative and try new bold things — not just all darkness. History makes me a skeptic, though.

Yeah. BCW supplies, particularly the plastic ones, have been hit hard by tariffs. They are charging all their accounts a tariff surcharge. Comic retailers are not loving the headache.

So true! We brought our lil one back from Arizona with us. And all of our least favorite is cold rain. Snow sucks, but at least hits the fur different. Cold rain is the worst.

As someone who has been in comics retail for over two decades, I am not surprised at all, but am still very sorry. Individuals are great, but in general, the fandom is not alright.
