I’m supporting this petition because this sell off is a betrayal of an institution that helped generations of working class people get qualified, including my dad as it happens.

But there is a bigger question. How do we stop finance capitalism getting its tendrils on everything and fucking it up?

The Harder they Come was one of the most important and iconic films of the era. It spread the word on Reggae across the world, including Africa. Lucky enough to see him in person once, still love his music. RIP Jimmy.

Blown away by Do Ho Suh’s show Walking the House at Tate Modern. Whimsical but profound about space and memory.

Great production of Moby Dick at the Tower Theatre Stoke Newington. Hard to dramatise this work without moving into sea shanty cliche. But the director managed it and diluted male dominated cast with an innovative chorus of female fates/whales/ships. Really impressed- and there are sea shanties.
