No, I am not going to watch your YouTube videos as replies, and it looks like my last response triggered some kind of meltdown in you.

Back when you were polite, it was a civilised discussion, but now you’re only capable of personal attacks.
I wish you to master the control of your emotions.

You're confusing me perhaps. I haven't mentioned communism until someone else did. I am not for communism.

Your given Szasz quotation "eat or be eaten" was from his warning that If you don’t actively define yourself, your sanity, freedom, someone else will do it for you, and that definition will become your cage.
Which explains why you fight so hard to stay in your cage of capitalism-only thinking.

Saying capitalism fits because humans are animals, is like saying - monarchy fits because humans like leadership.
October 8, 2025 at 12:14 PM
Yes, humans are animals. Being animals doesn’t mean being capitalists. Cooperation is as natural as competition, and evolution produced both. The system we choose reflects values, not instincts.

The point of civilisation is to evolve beyond raw instinct, not to dumb ourself down.

It is strange to read your follow up message already discussing communism as if I proposed it as an alternative. That may have happen because you have assumed that it’s what I was about to advocate for.
October 8, 2025 at 12:06 PM
There’s nothing to discuss as the alternative system. Nobody ever designed or seriously researched one.
Even worse, the capitalism itself was never reviewed.
Every science is researched, discoveries made and pushed forward. Every science except for one. And reason is demonstrated in this thread.
October 6, 2025 at 10:14 AM
But there are no other options. I think that’s because any such discussion is shut down with what you write - “I’ll put up with whatever”. We can’t develop other options if people are rather not even discuss anything.

Remember Covid and how entire financial sector was closed and absolutely nothing happened?

I wonder why attack me and try to win argument by implying that I am not knowledgeable?
October 5, 2025 at 11:19 PM
Why assume that if someone critical of capitalism they are automatically a communist?
October 5, 2025 at 11:14 PM
That is if you think with mindset of a person conditioned to needs and worries that capitalist society trains them. consumerism is way of compensation for being a job slave most of your life.
People from Middle Ages would not be able to fit into capitalist society, they had different mindset too.
October 5, 2025 at 11:13 PM
And that’s the problem. Any discussion about capitalism being unfit for humanity devolves into personal attack. It’s like someone comes to doctor and as as soldier tells them they’re sick, they get so upset that they leave immediately without discussing the treatment.
October 5, 2025 at 11:07 PM
This is a common fallacy, “argument from lack of alternative” - if we don’t have alternative ready then criticism is not valid.
That’s nonsense. A critique can be true even if the alternative isn’t yet clear. Truth and solutions are separate categories of knowledge.

We reached post scarcity about 40 years ago. We can feed and house everyone, look how much is spent on military like nothing.
It’s capitalism that requires constant pressure of artificial atmosphere of scarcity to force population into pointless job slavery.
