Literally this! I’ve spent a lot of my life at Mass with various priests and the preaching has never been hellfire and brimstone, and never aimed at an individual parishioner. (It has been boring and sanctimonious sometimes, obvs.) I know movie language is heightened but this was not even a parody.

I know the online shops will fill to the brim with AI slop ebooks but I hope against hope that most publishers will maintain a belief that human editors offer something that generative AI can’t.
