last weekend of the year spent organising my thoughts, attended a community open mic session and had a little too much to drink. i can't wait to see what the new year brings!

second last weekend of the year?! it's amazing how quick time flies. spent the weekend shopping (and making) presents for loved ones. i've been real thoughtful about what i'm giving this year and it feels good not to just splurge one whatever's flashy and expensive

it was quiet. spent my weekend looking at my 2025 reading goals and trying to set new ones for 2026. also planning for bookish content i'm going to make in the coming days because it helps with the holiday blues, and catching up on some reading before the end of the year.

had a pretty crafty weekend! made some shrink charms (diy christmas gifts this year) and then had such a busy sunday helping my sister get social content for her christmas workshop at a luxury spa!

I'm still reeling from leaving a job only a month in – it wasn't a right fit, and it seemed right to leave before things got worse. Had some really nice beef brisket and a cempedak creme brulee as a belated graduation dinner and I am in my healing era (again)

Took me a little while to post this because I was SLAMMED by the end of the festival. Didn't attend as many panels as I would've liked to, but I made so many new friends and learned so much from budding writers and panellists!

the social event of my year is finally here – the singapore writers festival. i got to meet R.F Kuang and got one book signed, which i was so incredibly lucky to experience because the book signing line was so long. attended a couple of panels and will share details soon~

haven't been to the graveyard in ages! finally visited to clean my grandma's grave in lieu of all souls day. it was very hot but i'm glad i didn't have to walk in wet, muddy grass instead. this is also the last functioning graveyard in singapore, did you know?

this weekend brought with it the life of a newly employed girl after a year of freelancing. spent time with a friend discussing our upcoming showcases in nov, the month of literary overcommitments

productive. attended my second co-writing space event (space bar) with my friends. it was nice to get the words flowing again.
had some ice cream after and spotted harmatten season in the flesh 🥳 if you haven't read it, you should. it's good.

Read for joy. Read for education. Read for resistance. Read banned books. Read books by marginalized authors. Read about experiences that differ from your own.
Just. Keep. Reading.
