This is one of the most exciting aspects of ATproto for me, the whole “cultivating a community of creativity” and empowering users to build / create their our own solutions through that. Reminds me of the earlier days of the internet and bodes well for the future. Feels wholesome

As a teacher, watching this unfold is terrifying. In Australia, at the primary and secondary school level, it’s already rolled out for kids in South Australia and in NSW from next term. Kids who can’t discern between real people and LLMs, a massive red flag already demonstrated in the trial:

NSW Dept of Education is officially rolling out their Al tool for students and teachers in Term 4 2025. This will be absolute chaos. Students already have an over reliance on LLMs. They are hamstringing an entire generation's capacity to develop high order thinking skills. Utter Idiocy #auspol

Halfway through Black Doves on Netflix and I’m really, really enjoying it. Great writing, pacing, solid acting, good chemistry. Solid drama. Even the action is noticeably high quality. I can see why it was greenlit for a second season before the first had even premiered. Onto the final 3 eps!

How was it? King adaptations are hit and miss, but I’m hearing good things about this one.

Ps. Enjoying season 2 of Wolf King. The YA vibes translate perfectly to animation. Would love to one day hear more about your experience of writing the books vs tv show!
