I hope one day they'll give me the same opportunity and that I'll get the shots! They sure are a joy to watch! I can identify them immediately because of their agility in flight...even more magnificent than Peregrines. So glad you captured one!

Thank you! It was a rare cool and misty morning here in Florida, so he's "borbing" a little. I call him Baby. He was born/raised in the trees above my house. When he became independent, his parents left him here, so my yard is his territory now. I love seeing him! He's on the duck box again now!

I love the colors! I wish I'd seen a pair so I could learn more about identifying male vs female. I guess they're fairly similar but the male has darker coloring on the wings.
