I’m proud to stand with our teams and allies who are making that future possible every day, against the odds.

We also met with U.S. and EU diplomats, pressing for principled policy that centers the fundamental human rights of Palestinians, and accountability for violence and abuses.

The U.S. has leverage and a responsibility to use it for justice and rights.

In Hebron and Bethlehem, I met women-led protection committees responding to settler violence with courage and care.

In Jenin, I met families sheltering in university dorms after their homes were destroyed.

In East Jerusalem, I saw the fragmentation of communities and the infrastructure of discrimination.

Palestinian communities are facing systemic displacement, settler violence, and restricted access to water, movement, and basic services.

Humanitarian access is being denied.

The U.S. must not look away.

I grieve every day for colleagues, partners, and the people of Gaza, whose courage is met with violence and deprivation.

Humanitarians must be allowed to do our jobs of saving lives without fear of attack. #CeasefireNow

The United States, above all, must use its influence to:

- Demand a ceasefire
- Make certain the siege is lifted to allow critical aid into Gaza
- Demand the release of all hostages and unlawfully detained prisoners
- Ensure aid workers can carry out their vital work in safety

Two years is far too long. The world cannot look away.

Famine is a man-made reality in Gaza.

The healthcare system is shattered.

Families are enduring unimaginable loss.

The humanitarian situation has never been more dire.

65,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, most of them women and children.

Two million have been displaced, many multiple times.

Through an unrelenting campaign of bombardment, siege, and starvation, Israel has inflicted deliberate harm on civilians and destroyed the very fabric of life in Gaza.

This amounts to collective punishment on a mass scale.

Momentum is gaining globally and locally, with the passage of laws in NY and Vermont to make fossil fuel corporations pay.
