My audiobook history is between myself, my booksellers and @libro.fm.

The phone on the desk is saying “Trapped as they were in the close confines of the wardrobe, he could feel Harding’s lean body pressed against the length of him…” Panel two: “I use Libro.fm (http://Libro.fm) to get my audiobooks, which is great because they’re purchased from my local bookstore.” Note (Rather than from a planet-killing worker-abusing complicit-billionaire-owned hell platform). Lucy is sitting and looking at her phone, saying “ooh! A serial killer meet cute? Yes please!” narration: “I really love Libro.fm (http://Libro.fm), save for one hitch...” Panel three: “The owners of my local bookstore happen to be good friends of mine.” Lucy is arriving at a bookshop. She is saying “Hiya! Ready for lunch?” One of her bookseller friends is saying “Oh, I dunno— is it safe to go to lunch with a SERIAL KILLER? heh heh. The other bookseller friend says “Yeah wow— The entire 3-book series in ONE WEEK?” Panel four: Lucy is saying “I’m not ashamed!” Bookseller 1: “Who’d have guessed that all the wholesome books you make are powered by a steady stream of SMUT?” Lucy: “Don’t you two have some kinda bookseller’s oath of silence?” Bookseller 2: “Just because books provide a measure of mental health, it doesn’t make us therapists !” Bookseller 1: “Nice try, perve!”

Due to #husbandlurgy, I am sharing a room with my two (2) children on this trip, and one (1) of them shouted STOP! in his sleep at 4am. It’s going great.

I always think this app is pronounced BLOOski or Booksy (which I am aware is a different app entirely, but when my brain sees “bsky,” it reads “Booksy,” I don’t know), but eventually I’ll get it right.
