Okay. Now, Ontario Election '25. There are two things I genuinely want people to consider when they go to the polls today. First: you have the power to decline your ballot (in person) This counts as a no-vote against the candidates and is actually tallied as opposed to invalidating it or not voting

I was inspired by that Twitter post where the user decided to try to buy a Steam Deck using only Steam trading cards and started selling all of mine. making progress, but I really like that this is the games equivalent of trying to pay for something entirely with pennies.

You would think that by now companies would stop using unclear date systems when dealing with worldwide announcements. Nintendo, buddy, just say April 2nd next time. This isn't a date that lacks confusion like 9-9-99 for the Dreamcast, just keep it simple.

I'm seeing Come From Away today, which it now occurs to me is particularly odd timing considering the show is about Canada helping America in the aftermath of tragedy, and I'm seeing it the day that the Americans are attempting to punish us for "being bad allies".

When studios announce they're cancelling unannounced multiplayer entries in single player franchises I can't help but roll my eyes.
Listen, it's great that you want to expand the world of your games, but people play single player story focused games for the single player story focused gameplay.

So I'm like 70-80% through Secret of Mana. I don't mind that weapon levels are tied to orb pickups + usage, but why is magic the same? The only way to level up magic consistently is to find an area (like near the wind palace) and cast magic repeatedly and then have the NPC restore your MP when low.

My first stream back from hiatus was pretty good... Though I was playing secret of Mana and was getting a visual error. Apparently it's a common issue even with the original cart but I can't seem to find anything on how it's caused or how to resolve it 😅
