Spooky-ooky queer woman. Storyteller of Vampire the Masquerade and other ghoulish things. Obsessed with classic horror movies. I want to live in a crypt. Normal human and totally not a vampire.

Hay there! I'm Abendroth, a huge fan of Vampire The Masquerade and a storyteller with big ambitions. I also like other dark ttrpg's like CoC and Blades. I love writting and talking about writing! My nerd superpower is an encyclopedic knowledge of classic monster movies. 🦇
A woman in her 40s with long black hair and dark eye makeup. He is wearing plum colored lip gloss, and her septum and lip are pierced. She's a little spooky.

It's the day of my birthing! Took the rest of the week off to celebrate, and my celebrate I mostly mean I'm gunna work on my writing projects lol. When I'm not doing that the plan is to spend as much time with my incredible girlfriend as possible 💜

1970s Eurohorror recommendation day #8 - Let Sleeping Corpses Lie. (1974) A Spanish/Italian co-production, this one came out after Night of The Living Dead which is where it takes its inspiration from, but before Dawn so it's actually ahead of its time in some ways. Highly atmospheric and recommend!

1970s Eurohorror recommendation day #7 - Vampire Circus 1972. 15 years after a powerful vampire count is defeated, the circus comes to visit the 18th century village that saw him a slain. Could it be a coincidence? One of Hammer Studios later offerings, this one is packed with creativity and sex🦇
Two figures loom over a victim with blood on her neck. One of the figures is clearly a vampire, judging by their long pointy fangs!

All done with work and I've got the next six days off to celebrate my birthday tomorrow! Ha, still don't know what I'm doing for it however. Hopefully during my time off I can get plenty of writing done. Uh, and sleeping. :P

Finished up redoing all the character sheets for the one shot based on player feedback and just stuff I noticed today. Next is to make a cheat sheet with all the relevant discipline rolls and stuff for quick reference for the ST!

One Hammer Horror film with Caroline Munro and (at least) one with Peter Cushing will both make appearances in my little Eurohorror 31 days of Halloween countdown later!

🤮 fuuuuuck ok, was hoping for dumb-spooky-fun but that would have really pissed me off, thanks for the heads-up

Well fuck that's a bummer I was looking forward to it

I revised half of the character sheets for my VtM one shot based on feedback I got from last nights play-test. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to do the other half, then I'm making a character disciplines cheat sheet and then starting the second draft. I'm happy the project is moving forward again!

No problem, I bought em off off ST Vault a couple years back and they're still the best.

1970s Eurohorror recommendation day #6 - "The Loreley's Grasp" 1973. A really weird one by the same director as the Blind Dead series, this one features a lizard monster and an almost standard horror set up, that takes a weird turn towards being more like a fairy tale. A different kinda horror flick
A beautiful woman with long red hair in a bikini of some sort. She seems to be sitting on a chair or throne.

If you have yet to use @mrgonev6.bsky.social 's VtM character sheets I strongly recommend that you give them a try. They're easily the best one's available imo

I really want to do something special for this Halloween especially since it falls on a Friday this year, but everything is so expensive. I'd really like to go to this block party in the local Gayborhood but 35 bucks each for entrance seems a little steep

Okay so the test of my VtM one-shot couldn't have gone better, that was a total riot. That being said the players I had for the test were absolutely the right kind of people for the content. I'm thrilled that it went so well and looking forward to the next play test with different players

All set up to run the first play-test of the VtM one-shot I wrote! Let's goooooooooo🦇

I don't know what Bela Lugosi would have thought about the modern world but it's important to remember that he was an anti fascist union organizer and would have absolutely supported the dolls
Bela fucking Lugosi wearing his Dracula outfit, a tux and a cape. He looks quite dapper and spooky

1970s Eurohorror movie recommendation day #5 - The Devil's Wedding Night (1973). Ok I'm very biased towards this movie. It's got a very sexy Vampire Countesses bathing in blood in a coffin. There's a magic ring, twins played by one guy, a spooky castle, and virgin's in peril. This is peak Eurohorror
