I'm deeply ashamed of this immaturity but I can't help feeling that it's particularly appropriate for Tudge himself.

No ethical government would fail to do that which they know to be right for fear of criticism.

We do have a greed crisis though, and with a government committed to serving capital rather than people the gaps just keep on getting bigger.

Smarmy Hanson is very successful at promoting hate for the oppressed, and love for the oppressors.

Deport all the immigrants but you won't solve any of the problems because they were created by capitalism.

Immigrants are not the problem.

Untaxed wealth is the problem.

Our fearless leader don't want a frank and fearless public service any more than they want an inquisitive, investigative media.

They want enquiries with conclusions to order and a media that serves up mediocre crap, sap, pap and more crap.

Much like what we have now.

I also have seen large public organisations defunded, degraded and sold off.

I left with a package and considerable resentment.

You spend years making an effort and they discard you like yesterday's paper.

We had a public service once and it's dismemberment, commenced by Little Johnny and continued enthusiastically ever since, is almost complete.

None of our fearless leaders want frank and fearless advice, they want the opinions they pay for.
