Driving home from work in the middle of a snow storm was a lot of fun. A normal 25-30 minute drive turned into a more than an hour drive home. Thankfully I got home because the roads are getting slippery and snow is continuing to fall.

So excited for Pokémon’s Ascended Heroes set coming out in January of 2026. I can’t wait to build new decks out of Mega Emboar Ex, Mega Feraligatr Ex, Mega Meganium Ex, Mega Dragonite Ex.

I watched Lord Of The Rings extended cut trilogy for the first time ever 3 weeks ago because I just remember growing up and seeing the “One does not simply walk into Mordor” meme by Sean Bean.
My goodness, that original trilogy was wonderful.
(P.S: I rewatched the original trilogy 3 more times 🙈)

A part of me misses just chatting with mutuals on the dead bird app about the grapps. And then when I’m on the dead bird app through my other account staying up to date on gaming and sports, I come across weird tweets involving fans of the grapps where I’m glad I’m not involved anymore.

Ascended Heroes leaked and the cards in that set look really good. They’re going to come back and scalp again aren’t they? Sigh

My friend went to Walmart and saw tons of Phantasmal Flames packs laying around. That makes me happy to hear, hoping that this is only just the beginning of finding Pokemon packs in the wild again.

So excited about the prerelease tournament for this weekend for Magic The Gathering x Avatar The Last Airbender. It’s my first ever prerelease, getting 6-8 booster packs and then building a 40 card deck to play with in the tournament.

It’s ridiculous how quickly they sell out. I want to be able to open a box, see the new cards in the set, and then add the newer cards to my Pokemon decks.

I got back into playing Magic the gathering too. I haven’t played since 2019. The Final Fantasy collaboration being announced brought back some interest in playing again.

Got into playing Pokemon tcg last year, it’s so much fun!! The only downside imo is when you’re trying to open a new box from a new set, a scalper ends up beating you to the punch. Scalpers suck so bad.

I was not surprised to see a certain “legend” join in and spew hate at Japanese women’s wrestlers like so many “fans” and “wrestlers have done/continue to do.
