Set up my mum's new laptop last month. Spent longer turning stuff off and uninstalling bloatware and tracking things that it took to transfer her entire backup and set up the few apps she uses. 😅

I love it when various folks I'm parasocially latched onto unite.
I also liked how in the video it's highlighted that you don't have to burn everything to the ground in your life to become some perfect beacon of justice based consumerism. But yeah, all the tech corps are profiteering from suffering.

Getting to the point where I'll load an alternative os to avoid these features, which is funny because I used to load an alternative os to ADD features to older devices.
