What interested me the most is the addition of baby skeleton horses. Since there are baby zombies mobs, but no baby skeletal mobs. Which could give rise to baby skeleton variants

If baby skeleton horses got added. Could baby skeletons come next? 🤔

That’s great! Minecraft Earth, Story Mode and Dungeons has so many good ideas that would be awesome to see in the base game.

I personally would love to see the Wither Storm (adjusted), Dungeon’s End and weapons, and more Minecraft Earth mobs in the base game

This drop makes me excited for the future of Minecraft! I’m hopeful that we can see more changes to old features, perhaps we could see changes to structures and their loot, how the end operates, or even how the game progress :)

Next snapshot is on 6th of January.

Even thought we are still stuck in 2025 here in America. Happy new year!

May 2026 be a great year for Minecraft and Mojang :)

Merry Christmas! Wish the best luck for Minecraft and Mojang next year!

He said that he wouldn’t comment on future plans, probably because NDAs unfortunately, but it’s something only time can tell.

I’m curious to hear your opinion about Katie Scott being the head of Vanilla MC, I honestly would be fine with it if she wasn’t a former EA and Ubisoft employee which makes me a little worried 😅

Would love to hear your thoughts

I actually think Minecraft needs that spooky vibe more, it’s what made old Minecraft special back then :)
December 20, 2025 at 2:20 AM
Honestly I believe it would be good if it was optional rather than non-optional! Unfortunately Microsoft doesn’t see it that way :/
December 18, 2025 at 8:42 PM
I think it’s pretty good! As long as it’s optional. It sites the sources instead of outright stealing unlike ChatGPT, and can have an accuracy off 75-90% that’s why I prefer it over Copilot, since I see Copilot a bit intrusive.

But ofc, I like to also use search engine too
December 18, 2025 at 7:30 PM
I think it’s fine if you use them to see a different view while not 100% relying on them. For example, I sometimes ask Gemini some questions while still thinking for myself and not trusting it 100%

I personally prefer it over copilot or any other chat AI
December 18, 2025 at 5:23 PM
I prefer Gemini (as long as it doesn’t generate me any generated image or video) over copilot since I find it more reliable and less intrusive.

I am personally not a fan of Microsoft’s current decisions, including AI, and plan to migrate to a different OS because of it 😅

How about you?
December 18, 2025 at 5:13 PM
I sometimes use AI to search things not available or hard to find on the web like hypothetical scenarios or questions. 😅

What I do not like is companies like Microsoft trying to shove AI into everything without making them optional or non-intrusive

I think there should be a mix between the old version system and new system. You could take alpha as inspiration since bug fixes/hotfixes could be categorized as “_X”

They are already doing that! www.minecraft.net/en-us/articl...

I see. It would be nice if we could have a 1:1 conversation again because that alongside its indie-like nature is what made Minecraft special in my opinion. I would love to be able to help you at any time in regards to the game’s development :)
November 26, 2025 at 11:24 AM
I believe the updates are community oriented! By more “community oriented” I meant updates based around top community feedback (be end update or new bosses) or doing things like polls (asking players what they want to see the most) so players can get to interact with devs more frequently again :)
November 24, 2025 at 7:37 AM
Maybe you’re right, maybe not! Maybe Minecraft deserves a better owner than Microsoft or a healthy competition! Though I would like to hear what Jeb thinks about it 🙂
November 24, 2025 at 5:18 AM
I think Hytale would provide healthy competition! Perhaps they could inspire Minecraft or its updates to be even more community oriented!

My feedback to the system would be the following. When doing a drop, put the next drop in experiments so that they could have more time to develop said drops. As a bonus, announce a big update (like 1.22) as experimental update which can stretch between drops
November 20, 2025 at 3:40 PM
I’m curious. Would this make updating the game easier for you too? 🤔
October 29, 2025 at 4:14 PM
Personally. I would love to see a difficulty revamp. Perhaps the one we saw in the snapshot tests?
October 29, 2025 at 2:46 PM
Good to hear! Yeah, I recommend you not to check twitter since it’s currently a mess 😅
