The crowd erupted, cheers shaking the arena, but all I heard was his whisper against my lips:

“I love you.”

And everything else faded away.

The crowd held its breath as we spun, our steps synchronized, our bodies moving as one. Near the end, he caught me in his arms, holding me close as we spun in slow circles. My heart pounded. His crimson eyes burned into mine.

And then he kissed me.

Then he came. Katsuki. The prince. He stepped onto the ice, meeting me with a small, crooked smirk. Without a word, he joined my dance. Together we moved, fire and ice in harmony, two souls intertwined, the duel reborn as something far more intimate.

And so, one dawn, I returned to the arena. The ice had been conjured once more, and I glided across it freely, lost in the music only I could hear. A few early risers paused to watch. Then more came. And more. A crowd gathered, silent and enraptured, as I carved my dance across the frozen ground.

At last, I grew tired of the whispers, the questions, the half-truths. If the world demanded an answer, we would give it.
