15 years ago my mom died of diabetic hypoglycemia. Recently had a patient that reminded me of her. Unconscious, blood sugar was 15, which is at death’s door. We were sweating but got an IV in and give her D10. In minutes she was awake/talking. Was so hyped; feeling sentimental in the best way. :’)
