It’s weird that I fooled myself for years thinking I was still thin and a runner. I guess even a decade after I got out of shape I still thought of myself as an athlete.

How do you/me decide how much pain we can tolerate? I always thought of myself as a ”big brave dog” as my son Cooper said back in the day. Now I’m getting a hip replaced and I’m beginning to doubt myself.

What a book! The 1st historical fiction from Jenny Pearson, Shrapnel Boys, is gut-wrenching, shocking & and an absolute masterpiece. Darker than what you may expect but it makes it even more powerful. Wow! Out 8/5 for 9+. Thanks Usborne 📖 #kidslituk

Small birds are nesting in the chimney. I told my wife the gas starter was broken so we can’t have a fire but really, small birds are nesting in our fireplace, I can hear them whistle a little at night.
