I really believe we are not conscious of our choices until immediately after we make them. Over time, we reflect and slightly nudge our subconscious towards different reactions based on experience and knowledge. Therefore, developing a "healthy" subconscious is a good way to be more intentional.

Language is a very powerful tool for sharing information. We compress multimodal, multidimensional, and temporal data experienced in parallel into a linear sequence of words. We do this with our thoughts even before we share them. I wonder how this contributes to our experience of time as linear.
