SOMA is amazing worldbuilding and story. It's just terribly ironic that the monsters and "horror" elements got in the way of the game, I feel.

Dreadout is flawed, but really interesting. It's Fatal Frame, except ghosts are literally everywhere and it's based on a mythology that is uncommon in games.
