If you *happen* to be bored today, someone is trying to put together a website of all the big meanies who refuse to lionize noted right-wing extremist, chauvinist, and supporter of gun violence, Charles Entertainment Kirk. It'd be TERRIBLE if this email was flooded with people encouraging violence.

Interestingly enough I *did* receive a response! It's a bit of a non-apology, so I sent back a response for clarification and haven't heard back yet. But here's where we're at. (I was apparently not the only irate dem-adjacent that had received this)

The American Federation of Government Employees, which represents 800,000+ federal and D.C. workers (i.e. people directly impacted by a government shutdown), is urging senators to vote no on the House GOP's CR.
In other words, AFGE is saying a government shutdown is less bad than this GOP bill.
