Using children as human shields. We are reaching such extreme levels of “every accusation is a confession” that reality itself feels too on the nose.

Is it because the right wants to destigmatize actual antisemitic ideology? Or is the new term being used because the right recognizes that the term “antisemitism” isn’t taken seriously when it’s brought up in conversations about Israel’s war crimes?

It’s interesting that the writer/editor aren’t just using the word “antisemitism” to smear Israel’s critics as is usually the norm with Israel’s supporters. Why invent a clunky new term?
