I am sorry, but you are just such a fucked up country. Had so many lovely trips there in the past, but zero desire to go back. Really don’t know what to do to help from your next door neighbour country (Canada).

No, they don't. There is no way they could file my tax return. They have no record of things like medical expenses, donations, etc, all valid deductions that reduce your tax payable.

The article is interesting re Florida. It says statistics show overall international travel is up. But the guy interviewed said he doesn’t know where they are going, all businesses are hurting. Are they jigging their stats?

it is not the tariffs, you had it right later in the article, it is trumps rhetoric. I am quite sure for many of us, it is going to take a long while before we even think of going back. Spent $12k on lovely road trips to the US last yr. Now travelling Canada, Europe, Scandinavian countries instead.

I was thinking the same thing. Many of us (Canadian here) have no intention of going any time soon. So it doesn't really matter if we can stay 180 days or 240 days.. My retirement plans before did include very extended road trips through the US states, at a nice leisurely pace. Not now.

I am quite enjoying watching them keep PP. The man lost the riding he had for 20 years. That alone should tell you what the majority of people think of him. So go ahead and keep him in place, it will not do the CPC any favours, IMHO.

Canada can reduce their surplus by stopping selling them cheap electricity, oil, potash, problem solved. We can find new customers for that, I am sure.
