Huge amount of investigation by police, bravery by victims, and even the help of AI to catch Burrows who fled justice for nearly 30 years. I attended the sentencing hearing today and echo the Judge’s comments that victims are never to blame and the guilt lies solely with Burrows as the abuser.

Huge amount of investigation by police, bravery by victims, and even the help of AI to catch Burrows who fled justice for nearly 30 years. I attended the sentencing hearing today and echo the Judge’s comments that victims are never to blame and the guilt lies solely with Burrows as the abuser.
I’ve attended the sentencing hearing today as Burrows received a whopping 46 year prison sentence. The judge kept the victims front and centre and reminded them that victims of sexual abuse are never to blame and no need to feel guilty for abuse by others. Justice in action today
