I realized I was letting my judgement and resentment make me less demonstrative towards my adult children and creating distance. I'm getting better at separating my love for them from any petty frustrations I experience - being more present and connected.

I think Santa would love a donut instead of a cookie. It might give up the game to any kids who know you well, though. 😉
