I just discovered Kate Elliott. Since you included Pratchett as old fantasy, I think she qualifies too, but she has two books published in 2025.

Every time I see footage of an ICE raid, I think of how you voted to support our neighbors being taken away by force without due process. Soon it will escalate to more of the protestors who might be suspected of being socialists, and you voted for that too.

Until recently, I thought the texture on curb cuts was a cold climate thing, to keep them from being as slippery from ice and snow. I mean they are great for that reason too
